To keep it simple, a digital asset is a unique Super Card created by a streamer. Each Super Card has its own Exclusive content that it unlock and a limited amount, just like the cards we collected when we were kids. Once sold, the holder of the digital asset gets to enjoy the special perks that come with it until their card is traded.
How does it work? 🕵️♀️
Streamers each have their own marketplace page displaying their digital assets for sale. Every asset contains exclusive content that the streamer has created beforehand, for instance, their weekly blog, a phone call, their outfit of the day, etc. Everything is sellable and the sky is the limit when creating. The assets are sold on the Playstream platform, so all transactions are completely safe and secure.
Why sell digital assets? 🤨
It’s no secret that streamers have celebrity status these days: all boasting large communities and an immense amount of fans and followers. Like movie stars and sports athletes, streamers have regular fans and super fans too. While the super fans wish to stand out and be noticed by their idols, the streamers don’t have a particular way that can help their fans fulfill their wishes. This is where digital assets come in. They give superfans an incentive to spend more in order to stand out and be unique by owning their favorite streamer’s rarest digital assets. This connects the superfan and the streamer like never before.
Profitable Opportunity 🤑
Once a fan purchases a Super Card, they can trade, flip, sell and buy it. When a streamer’s brand becomes more popular, the demand for their assets will skyrocket, resulting in an increase in value. When a fan decides to sell the asset for a profit, the streamer that created the asset will earn royalties for the transaction. Bear in mind that each time the asset is sold in the future, the streamer will always earn their share royalties.
